Amanda Penhorwood-Johnson
Hi! My name is Amanda Johnson. After living in many different places, we finally settled in this beautiful town when I was a teenager. I have fallen in love with the people and environment. It is my goal that my clients leave my chair with more love for themselves than before.
Coming from someone who has lived in different cultures, and interacted with many different people, I understand how important it is to have trust and comfort with your stylist. I value the importance of connecting with my clients.
With more than 4 years of experience, I am happy to cater to anyone, young or old. I continually strive to stay knowledgeable in the latest trends. My favorite services are vivid colors, multi-dimensional colors, skincare/facials, and eyelash extensions. I have been to numerous color classes, am a certified Master of Balayage, and also a certified lash extension artist.

Heather Spradlin
Hi there! My name is Heather Spradlin and I am a Nashville native. My husband is from LaFollette and we made the decision to move back with our little family in 2022.
I spent 10 years at a teaching salon in south Nashville perfecting my skills. Toward the end of my time there, I became a trainer and found it to be extremely rewarding. I have an education degree and I greatly enjoy teaching new stylists how to maximize their career potential.
I love being outdoors and you will find me and my family anywhere there’s water. The mountains feel like home to me, so I LOVE it here! I also love podcasts (any other armcherries out there?), reading, playing with my Bernese Mountain dog, and laughing at my favorite shows like The Office, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, etc. I love coffee so much, I have my own espresso machine at home!
My passions in the salon are skin care, blonding, color corrections, and helping you restore your hair to its best health. If you don’t know where to start, I will be your guide. I truly love helping women find their confidence again and look forward to meeting you!

Hello! My name is Chloe and I am nearly 3 years into my journey as a cosmetologist. I have quickly discovered that I have a passion for skincare as well as hair coloring and styling. There’s nothing better than helping someone feel confident and refreshed!
Outside of the salon, you can usually find me with my pets- I have a huge love for all kinds of animals! I also love music and enjoy expressing myself through drawing and painting. And when it’s time to wind down, I’ll likely be binge-watching one of my favorite shows.
I am all about bringing creativity, care, and good energy to every appointment. I can’t wait to meet you!

Pre-Visit
Beyond this information packet, you can expect to receive a courtesy reminder via text and/or email 24-48 hours prior to your appointment. Please refer to our cancellation policies if the need arises to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Day of Your Appointment
Before we begin, we will thoroughly discuss your skincare goals and design a plan to get you there. We will also discuss any concerns or skin issues you are currently facing and which options are best for you. The information below will help you know how best to prepare and what to expect.
Between Visits
Once your services are complete, we will make recommendations for a maintenance schedule, as well as detailed instructions for caring for your skin to keep you looking amazing from now until your next visit.
Come Prepared
-Your eyes will have to remain closed for the majority of your service, therefore children are not permitted to accompany you to your appointment. If you bring your child(ren), we will need to reschedule your appointment and no-show rebooking fees will apply. Please visit our Policies page for more information.
-Please come to your appointment with your face completely cleaned of any cosmetics. If this isn’t possible, please arrive 10 minutes early so you can remove your make-up before your scheduled appointment time.
-Please wear a low-bound hairstyle or braids to your appointment. High styles, ponytails, or claw clips can be uncomfortable and get in the way.
Parking
Spa services at Krome are located on the lower level. If you have any concerns regarding the stairway, please feel free to park behind the salon. You can notify the staff (call 423.566.7055) upon your arrival, and we will let you in through the back entrance.
Policies
Late Cancellation
Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you notify the salon or your stylist 24-hours or more before your scheduled appointment time. This window will provide us with the opportunity to fill the vacated time slot. Cancellations made less than 24-hours of your scheduled appointment may be subject to a $25 rescheduling fee.
No-Call/No-Show
If you do not cancel or reschedule an appointment, and do not show up for your requested appointment, a $100 rescheduling fee will be required and payable prior to booking another appointment. Repeated no-shows will no longer be able to schedule future appointments .
Late Arrival
We get it...stuff happens. However, to keep our schedules on track, if you arrive more than 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, we may have to either adjust which services can still be received in the time remaining (no price adjustment will be made) or reschedule your appointment. No-show rescheduling fees may apply.
